Why I Don’t Call Myself an Expert...
People often wonder why, after many years of specialist work, I don’t call myself an expert.
The brief reason? Because the term can imply a finality. My work isn’t about reaching definitive answers; it’s about paying close attention. It’s about staying curious as the field changes, tools develop, and assumptions are tested.
I have deep experience, but I also possess the humility to keep learning in a world that’s always moving. I don’t deal in fixed solutions. I work with living knowledge.
So, if you’re seeking someone who believes they’ve seen it all, solved everything, and can apply the same solution repeatedly, I might not be the right fit. However, if you value depth, adaptability, experience, and openness, then we’ll likely work well together.
I bring decades of specialist knowledge and leave space for what’s yet to be discovered.
